What Happens After You Win an Auction
Keep an eye on your inbox for a “Auction Won” email. (Not sure which email address you signed up with? Click here to view your account information.)
Shortly after you receive your winning email and the auction closes, you will receive an invoice from DinoBids letting you know the final buying price. (Your winning bid + a 15% buyer’s premium and 7% Florida sales tax).
If the invoice does not appear in your inbox after a while, be sure to check any filtered folders or spam folders, just in case. If you believe you have won an auction and you are sure an email has not been sent, contact us immediately so we can determine whether there is an issue.
You will be able to pay your invoice in-person when you come to pick up your items. All payments are due at time of pickup, which is generally up to three business days after you win your auction.
If you are unable to retrieve your items in person, contact us to arrange payment and shipping.
Please be aware that there is a 15% buyers premium for each successful auction, and a 7% Florida sales tax unless you provide proof of a tax exemption status.
To file proof of tax exemption, email a copy of your state’s tax exemption form to [email protected] prior to the closing of the first item in the auction. You must include AT LEAST the full name and email address associated with your bidding account in that email. Forms without this information will not be accepted. If your form is received after the auction has already ended, it will apply to future purchases but not the current auction. You will have to apply for a refund from the state. If you have any questions, please submit a contact form.
Note: Auctions are social in nature, and abandonment or unreliable payment by winners creates a negative experience for other users. Therefore, offenses of this nature may result in blacklisting from this site and its content.

Shipping Your Items
If you will need any items shipped to your location, get in touch. We will also need to arrange for payment, via phone or online, before shipping your items. Shipping invoices are separate from purchase invoices and will be calculated based on the shipping address you provide.
Shipping to Canada? Items shipped via common carrier will require a broker to facilitate the import into Canada. Before we can process your shipment, you must notify us of the brokerage company you are using. Please let us know as soon as possible.
Once your carrier or packers have retrieved your items, DinoBids is no longer responsible for those items, and we will have no liability of any loss or damages incurred during transport. Accordingly, we recommend that you take advantage of shipping insurance whenever available.
